The roots of InterAg stretch back to 1988 when it was launched as the internal distribution and marketing arm of
Hoechst Canada. Even as the landscape of Western Canadian agricultural companies evolved over the next 16 years, the value of InterAg remained constant. Through mergers and acquisitions involving Canada’s leading agricultural product and service providers, InterAg endured and grew for the simple reason that it brought tremendous value to the brands it represented, and most importantly, to its network of retail partners. InterAg became the retail and distribution arm of Bayer CropScience in 2004.
